In this Policy, "we," "us," and "our" mean Ludington Hobbies, LLC. "You" means the
person using the Site, visiting the store, or buying from us.
This Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions.
2. Information You Give Us
- Name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number.
- Account information, if you create an account on the Site: your email address and
a password, plus your saved addresses and order history.
- Order information: what you bought, when, and how you paid.
- Repair and service information: your contact details, the item left with us, and
the signed repair contract.
- Anything you send us in an email, a phone call, a web form, or a product review.
3. Information We Collect Automatically
When you use the Site, we and our service providers may collect your IP address,
browser and device type, the pages you view, and how you arrived at the Site. This is
collected through cookies and similar technologies. See section 6.
4. Information We Receive From Others
- Our payment processor confirms whether a payment succeeded, and gives us the card
brand and last four digits. It does not give us your full card number.
- Shipping carriers give us delivery status.
- Google Analytics, which gives us aggregate information about how visitors use the Site.
5. Payment Information
Online payments are handled by Stripe, which processes your card
details directly. We do not receive or store your full card number, expiration date,
or security code. In-store card payments are processed by Stripe. Your use of a payment processor is also governed by that company's privacy
policy.
6. Cookies and Tracking
The Site uses cookies to keep you signed in, remember what is in your cart, and keep the Site working. The Site also uses Google Analytics cookies to understand site traffic and usage. The Site uses a cookie banner that lets you accept or decline non-essential cookies, including analytics cookies, before they're set.
Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. Blocking essential cookies will break the cart and checkout.
7. How We Use Your Information
- To take, process, fill, ship, and hold orders, including in-store pickup.
- To take payment and prevent fraud.
- To answer questions and provide customer service.
- To perform repairs and contact you about work in progress or items ready for pickup.
- To send order confirmations, shipping notices, and other transactional messages.
- To send marketing email, if you asked for it (section 8).
- To keep our records, meet tax and accounting obligations, and comply with the law.
- To improve the Site and understand which products and pages our customers use.
We do not make automated decisions about you that produce legal or similarly
significant effects.
8. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context
behavioral advertising.
We share information only with:
- Service providers who work on our behalf: our website and ERP host, payment
processors, shipping carriers, and our email platform. They may use it only to
perform that service for us.
- Manufacturers and distributors, where needed to open a warranty claim or place a
special order on your behalf.
- Professional advisers, such as our accountant, under a duty of confidentiality.
- Law enforcement or other parties where the law requires it, or to protect our
rights, our property, or the safety of any person.
- A buyer or successor, if the business is sold or merged.
9. In the Store
Purchases made in the store are recorded in the same system as online orders. If you
give us your name, email address, or phone number at the register, it is kept with
that purchase so we can look up a receipt or handle a return. Our receipts carry a QR
code linking to our Google review page; scanning it is optional, and anything you
write in a review is public and governed by Google's policies, not ours.
Text message receipts. If you give us your mobile number at checkout and ask for a text receipt, we use it only to send receipts and messages about that purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We share your mobile number only with the service provider that delivers our text messages, and only so it can send them.
24/7 Video Camera with audio are in place throughout the store
10. How Long We Keep It
We keep order, payment, and repair records for as long as we need them for warranty,
returns, tax, and accounting purposes, and for 7 years afterward. Account
information is kept until you ask us to close the account. Marketing contacts are kept
until you unsubscribe.
11. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your
information, including encrypted connections on the Site and access limited to staff
who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot
guarantee absolute security.
12. Your Choices and Rights
You may:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information, except what we must keep for tax, accounting,
warranty, or legal reasons.

the time the law allows. We will not treat you differently for exercising these
rights.
13. Children's Privacy
The Site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from
children under 13. Many of the products we sell are used by young people, but the
account, the order, and the payment must belong to an adult. If you believe a child
under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
14. Do Not Track
Our website does not currently alter its practices or respond to automated browser "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals, as there is no universally accepted industry standard for how to interpret them. However, we honor customer choices regarding data privacy through our cookie preference settings, and users can manage their preferences or opt-out of marketing trackers as detailed in our Cookie Policy.

The Site links to manufacturer sites, carriers, and other third parties. We are not

giving them your information.
